Perfect Bag for the On-the-go Woman! I was a little hesitant to buy this bag after reading some of the reviews, but I did anyways because I've been wanting a good size bag for school. I'm a professor, and sometimes, I'm gone for 10-13 hours a day on campus. I'm always on the look-out for the perfect sized bag to carry all of my daily stuff in. This is it! I LOVE it. Seriously, my favorite bag from Vera (and I have several)! On any given day, it holds the following: my full screen laptop, my wallet (which doubles as a clutch), my lunch, a day calendar, two mid-size notebooks, three books, two cans of pop, one water bottle, one cosmetic bag (the small Vera one) and misc things like gum, pens/highlighters, phone charger, etc. I know--it's a lot of stuff--but the straps are great because the bag doesn't slide down my arm, which is a big pet peeve of mine. And it doesn't seem as heavy as some of the bags I've used. All the pockets are awesome because they are really deep and nothing falls out. If you are looking for a go-to bag, this is it! Only four stars??! This is the BEST bag! I couldn't believe this bag only got four stars. And I can't believe Vera retired this style! This is the perfect size bag for me. I love crossbody styes( which this bag is not) but I tend to carry a lot in my purse. The mailbag nd the convertible crossbody hold my stuff(with no oom at all to spare) but then when I'm carrying the bag it looks like I have a growth because the bag is o stuffed. Enter the go around tote. I can carry my 10 in tablet or my iPad, a med Cosmo, a phone wristlet, a big wallet( like the accordion or kiss and snap clutch), two tech cases a small knitting project, and still have room to spare. I'm not a fan of the breakaway zipper, but I like it better than te magnet closures Vera seems to be leaning towards. All in all, this is my favorite Vera bag. I own it in 5 patterns and want to add a few more!! April 9, 2013

WOAH! Love it! I bought the "grand tote" online, and realized it was bigger than i thought. Luckily I was able to exchange it in a Vera Bradley store for this tote. This tote is perfect for students. I can fit 2 binders 3 folders, and agenda and pencils etc. (binders standing up, not on the side) this bag i also used for sleepovers, beach bags, and a great carry on bag for the plane. I highly recommend this bag! some people complain about the zipper, but it is fine. i do not see a problem with it. hope this helped. March 2, 2013

Perfect in Every Way..... I recently ordered this tote in Island Blooms and when it arrived, I was blown away! "Stunning" is the word that I would use describe this tote and the pattern Island Blooms (which by the way, the picture does not due that pattern justice!) Not only is the tote stunningly beautiful, but very thoughtfully designed. Excellent for a day trip, or just every day, this tote will be able to carry you through your day as a regular purse (for shopping and/or work) or as an excellent carry-all for vacations or day trips. Not too big and not too small. If you are looking for the in-between perfect sized tote look no further and order yourself this sweet little gem. You won't be disappointed! March 1, 2013

Great bag, but... I don't ever write reviews, but I wanted to warn people about this bag. It is perfect, except the breakaway zipper. It's just a hassle. I took this bag to an airport and had to constantly get in and out of my bag, and the zipper was just a pain. I read negative reviews about the zipper, now I know what they meant. So...if you don't mind the breakaway zipper this bag gets a 5. But I found it incredibly irritating. February 18, 2013

Great bag for College students I am in college and I use this bag for everything. It is so spacious. I can throw all my books inside, pens, my graphing calculator. Anything! Its so big and fits everything I need for the day! I Keep my 32 oz nalgene bottle in one of the outside pockets and it fits perfectly. The Only thing missing is a small zipper pocket on the inside for a tampon or pad. February 17, 2013

Great Looking, Didn't Stand up to the Test While I love the idea of the Go Round Tote, it just didn't stand up to the test. I love the 4 huge pockets on the outside, but they took away from the inside of the bag, so I couldn't put too much in them, and depending on what I put in them, it would change the shape of the bag and make it look funky. The inside pockets weren't deep enough, so putting things in them made that side of the bag sag on the inside (you would need to put very little in those pockets). It didn't quite hold it's shape while standing up, atleast not at the bottom area of the bag where the bottom border met the main pattern. I think if the shape of the bag were different it would have done a lot better. It would do well as long as you didn't fill it too much. It also liked to fall over, so I'd constantly have to lean it up against something. As for the break away zipper..I didn't mind it at all. I'm one of those people who don't zip their bags shut very often, so it didn't other me...however it would have been nice to have the option of a toggle closure as well. The bag does open nice and wide at the top, so it's easy to get in there and find things. I wish there had been a zippered pocket on the bag somewhere. The straps were durable, but if they were quilted they would have been even better. Overall I loved the look of this bag, but the bag itself did not satisfy my needs. I probably wouldn't use it for anything other than maybe a crochet/knitting bag, or a purse #not for over stuffers/packers). February 13, 2013

Love it! I absolutely love this back. I got it in mocha rouge for student teaching. I absolutely love it! I carries so much and my water bottle. Some people talked about the zipper but I never zipper up my bag. I feel like it just gets in the way of my grabbing things. But it holds everything I need for my school day and it holds my ereader on the outside pocket along with my water bottle and power chords for my laptop. January 26, 2013

Good, but smaller than expected I don't know what I was thinking when I didn't look at the measurements before I purchased this bag. My 15 inch laptop does not fit length or width wise obviously, but I would think this bag is more for someone that needs a diaper bag or is going away for a couple of days. Over a college student needed a bag to commute to and from school with 3+ books, laptop, multiple binders, notebooks, etc. I'm not going to lower my review just because it didn't do what I needed it to because the material and built of the bag is good and the pockets are very roomy.
