Vera saved my commute I started a new job at the beginning of the year and had to start going downtown. This meant parking in a garage and walking to my office. When I started, I was given a backpack bag by my employer to carry all my work related items. At first this seemed great as I like backpacks and they are easier on your back. But I learned that with the in and out of elevators, going through a revolving door to my office, and the security turnstiles that the backpack was more trouble than it was worth. I needed a bag large enough to carry all my essentials, but one that was no so big it would be a challenge for all the above mentioned commute pains. I found the VERA in my local store and LOVED the Flower Shower pattern. This bag can comfortably hold my padfolio, iPad, laptop, and kindle (for lunch reading) in the main compartment. In the various slips I have my laptop cords, my kindle and iPad cords, pens, pencils, highlighters, Tide to-go stick, lotion and antibacterial gel with room to spare. In the front slip I have my badge and parking garage pass. I have yet to use the outer zip because I still have room on the inside. I even have enough room for the days I play sand volleyball after work to fit my change of clothes inside the bag. This thing is amazing. It is so great that I have even started just grabbing my small zip around wallet and phone out of my purse and adding it to the bag so I don't take my purse with me. Excellent bag for downtown commuting. June 27, 2014
A "Vera-Good" school bag! I have always wanted this bag. I have heard so many nice things about the Vera, so I really wanted to get it. So when I got it for Christmas in the pattern Buttercup, I was exteremley thrilled! It fits tons of stuff, so it makes a great school bag. The zip-pocket in the back is a great touch, you could put money (or whatever you want) in it, and it won't even fall out! I also like the front pocket, it's big enough to fit my wristlet in it!!!! The two big inside pockets are big enough for books! My two 'Let's Do Lunches' can even fit in here, even if they're not completley empty! And, the straps are nice and plush, so even if I put quite a lot in here, my shoulders don't hurt. I totally reccomend this bag to anyone who needs a bigger school bag, or for any other reason! This is a "Vera-Good" bag! January 8, 2012
Best tote ever! OMG I love this tote. I got it in Happy Snails to match my Large Duffel. It is so cute, yet roomy and functional. It used to be when I carried a tote bag I had to carry an extra purse to hold my personal items, but not so with this one because of all the pockets. I just drop my phone, wallet, pens, calculator, aspirin, lip balm, and whatever other small items I have into the interior pockets. My keys get clipped into one of the exterior pockets. The interior compartment is soooo big, I have put so many combinations of things in there. Sometimes 2-3 textbooks, 2 notebooks, my pen case, my iPad, a stack of graded papers and a leisure book - and still room to close it! Earlier today I threw my laptop in there and stuck the power adapter into one of the big pockets inside, and also threw a folder with some assignments and two notebooks plus my iPad and a book in there and I had room for more stuff. Plus because of the way the straps are constructed, this thing just does not get heavy. It is the perfect size for a carry on bag - I used it as a carry-on recently; it's big enough to carry all of the things I like to take with me on a plane but it EASILY fits underneath the seat in front of me. And if I didn't carry so much junk with me, I could probably fit an outfit or two and a pair of shoes in there. It would make a great overnight bag if you were only planning to stay 1-2 nights somewhere and just needed clothes and a few cosmetics. It's just a great general all-purpose bag and I think would make a GREAT gift for any busy woman on the go. December 18, 2011
