the perfect little black bag I adore this bag. I saw it around the holidays and just had to have it. Mine is black, which contrasts beautifully with the hardware. The pattern in the fabric is subtle and very attractive. The bag is roomy without being huge, and conveniently styled with several inside pockets. It is lightweight and easy to carry on my arm or in my hand. The shape is distinctive so the bag doesn't look like every other bag out there, which I really like. Overall it's just perfect. Great handbag, one flaw. I really do love this handbag - well made, typical Vera organization, LOVE the easy open magnetic closure. But the one thing that drives me a little crazy about it is what another reviewer mentioned - it's difficult to put over your shoulder. I know, it does say "handbag" in the product title but I guess I didn't take it literally enough. Still, it's a very nice handbag. Now I just wish Vera would make more of her Signature shapes in the microfiber. Please? March 4, 2011
Warming up to Vera I really like the solid color of this handbag and the style however, I wish it had a shoulder strap so I could swing it over my shoulder while I am trying to carry a briefcase and diaper bag.... February 24, 2011
Classic and Convenient I have really enjoyed carrying this bag. It has a very classic, timeless look; it just emanates 'good taste'. Along with this sense of style is the convenience of the simple magnetic closure opening, and the roomy light interior. It makes it so easy to be organized and find whatever you are looking for. No rummaging for something inside a dark, bottomless interior, which I have had to deal with in other purses. Stylish and Upscale This bag has an ultra chic shape and looks very sophisticated. I was surprised by how much it can hold, but I guess that's the advantage of the bowler shape. I LOVE the double magnetic closure which opens and close simply as you pull the handles apart/together--it's so convenient and adorable. I carry this bag inside or along a bigger bag such as the Vera for the commute, then take it out for a more polished look. A word of caution: the microfiber does attract lint so it is a little high-maintenance for a compulsive lint-picker. January 21, 2011
"Study bag great for any everyday trip" This bag is unique and absolutely wonderful! pockets are very convenient at the sides, even my phone sits in there! The structure of this bag is so useful that it can stand on its own. I still love my black microfiber bag even though the handles are not leather, but its quite sturdy the way it was made! Love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this bag so much. The look of it is extremely elegant and classy. There are 3 slip pockets and 1 zip pocket on the inside. It is the perfect size and the metal closure is so helpful. I own it in black, but have also seen the brown. Both look really good especially with the silver metal details and the metal Vera Bradley plaque. This is by far my favorite bag I own. January 19, 2011
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this handbag! I have had the frame handbag for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! It is just big enough to hold all of my necessities without being so big that it is overpowering. I also love the feel it has of stepping back in time with its elegant appearance. The espresso color goes great with everything in my closet! It's flat base comes in handy, I always know it won't accidentally fall over and spill my things. The side pockets are great for easy access to my phone and keys, I never have to go digging. All in all this is a wonderful piece!! Very classic and timeless!!!! January 19, 2011
