LOVE it! :)
I bought this for my mom for Christmas because she was enrolled in a yoga teacher training course. She used it throughout the course and has continued to use it since. It is very good quality and people continue to ask her where they can get one! Definitely recommended

Cute but not practical
I loved my Vera "Bird in Tree" yoga mat upon ordering it as the pattern and bag were very cute and fun to take to yoga class with me. However, after less than 6 months of use and proper care of the mat, it is falling apart. The mat sheds pieces of itself with each use and covers me by the end of each class. The quality of the mat does not seem to withstand extensive use. Unlike many of the products I own by Vera Bradley (luggage, bedding, pet accessories, and purses), I was very disappointed in this item and am unfortunately spending money on another mat now.

Comfy mat and great bag
I purchased this for my tween daughter to use for Yoga, but I've been using it much more for myself. I love the bag the mat comes with. Fits my water bottle in front pouch, and there's enough room for a small towel to fit on top of mat in the bag.
This mat is definitely more plush than my mat and has a kind of memory to it (does leave hand/foot impressions temporarily). It is a little slippery, but I haven't fallen and can hold Down Dog as long as on any other mat. The material in the mat is starting to flake off a bit. This mat gets used about 3x a week for the past 2-3 months. I'm pretty happy with it and am considering actually buying my own now.

Bag good, mat bad
I saw someone using one of the Vera Bradley bags/mats in a class at the YMCA. I rushed home to get one for myself. I was thrilled when it arrived, and carried it proudly to my next exercise class. Much to my dismay, the mat is falling apart. Every time I use it, there are little pieces of the mat all over the place. It's also thin, so anything done on your knees hurts. I guess I'll use the lovely, well-made bag to carry a cheap mat I can find at Target or Marshall's.

Cute but slippery
The mat is sooo cute. I haven't had problems with peeling as others have. The mat is thick enough for me, but pressure definitely leaves hand or foot prints, which doesn't usually happen with other mats I've used, and it is just plain slippery. I had hoped that after a few uses it would be less so, but it's not. Super cute idea, just not practical enough for me. :(

Vera pretty! :)
I recieved this mat for my 16th Birthday in Night and Day, the color I wanted. I go to a "bootcamp class" for fitness 3 days a week. Always on my mat doing legs, arms, some cardio, and ab workouts. I usually have shoes on if I go to step on my mat (I usually try to avoid stepping on it for too long), but if I do go to step on it, it does leave an indentation on my mat but it usually goes away in a few seconds. The mat is very squishy, but can sometimes get slick if I don't have my Vera Bradley towel on it. The "bootcamp class" I go to, we usually do our workouts in the parking lot of a local park so when I'm on my mat, it saves me from being able to feel the ground. The mat does get a little dirty on the top pretty easily but nothing a wet rag can't fix. You definitely can't fit a Vera Bradley towel in the bag with the mat (I tried). But the front pocket definitely fits 2 water bottles, keys, cell phone wallet, etc. Overall this mat is very pretty, squishy, and thick. I got a bunch of compliments on it when I pulled it out of the packaging at class, everbody liked it, and it certainly does draw your eye!

Yoga Mat--Poor Quality
While this is a very pretty mat and bag set, the mat isn't good quality. Like a previous reviewer said, my mat started to disentigrate shorty after using it--in just a few days! I do yoga daily for about 20 minutes and have had many mats in the past. I have never had one fall apart so quickly. I have never been disappointed in a Vera product until now (and I have over 100 Vera items). No more Vera mats for me!

Pretty, functional, but a little pricey
My sister-in-law gave me the Sittin' in a Tree yoga mat/bag for Christmas and I love it. She is a Vera-aholic and this is my first Vera. Pros: It is very pretty; easily distinguishable from everyone else; a bit thicker than the average purple gym ones; good stickiness; cute bag. Cons: It sheds little pieces very easily; seems to get dirtier (could be because of the light color and it is just more noticeable); bag way too small. A bag large enough to hold 2 blocks, a strap, blanket, water bottle, and mat would be perfect. Perhaps version 2 in more colors??

Beautiful mat and bag
I received this yoga mat and bag and love the pattern, color and style. The mat is a thicker mat than the traditional yoga mat which I really like. The bag is so pretty and well constructed.I am thrilled with this purchase!

Stretching It
I was happy to see that Vera Bradley had a yoga bag, but the bag itself, while pretty, only provides room for the thin mat that comes with it and nothing else. Yogis often take blankets, blocks, hair clips, water bottles, and other things with them to class. A long duffle bag with snap closures on the outside for a mat would be a better design.
