Born and raised in central Florida, Senior Web Designer, Nissa, logs plenty of time commuting to and from the Sunshine State. An integral part of the E-Commerce team, she jet sets to our headquarters in Fort Wayne to art direct email and blog content, and lead and collaborate on creative marketing campaigns. But different states mean different temperatures, a scenario that requires a seasoned packer.

“The day I fly out, I’ll dress for the colder climate since I tend to get cold in airports anyway. I wear and pack layers so that I can easily adjust according to the temperature, too. Shoes are the tricky part. I always wear the bulkiest pair and, if they have a heel, I’ll pack flats in my carryon.”

According to Nissa, the key to moving swiftly through the airport is carrying everything on when possible. Once she’s settled in her seat, she passes the time reading, working or catching up on sleep. “I use the Vera because it fits everything I need for the flight and has smaller pockets to keep it all organized. I always have my wallet, a scarf that can double as a blanket, a fully-charged iPad in a Tablet Sleeve with new magazines or a book downloaded on it (actual books/magazines are too bulky), some sort of emergency snack (almonds, etc.) and a back-up charger for my phone.”

The rest of Nissa’s trip essentials go into her Frame Travel Bag. “I can fill it completely, but still fit it into any overhead bin. I also love having the option of carrying it crossbody or by the handles.” Her style, self-described as “comfortable but still pulled together,” works perfectly with these pieces in versatile Canterberry Cobalt. Traveling is much more enjoyable with the right companions.
