Polish off the look

Bittersweet nailsAs a result of your votes, this month’s manicure is a Bittersweet-inspired tutorial courtesy of our resident nail artist, Design Assistant Thuvan.

For best results, Thuvan suggests applying white polish on top of the black where you will be adding the colored flowers. This allows the red and orange to really “pop” off the black background. And remember, “You need a steady hand, patience and an open mind when designing anything on a canvas this small. Practice makes perfect!”

Polish off the look: Bittersweet

[Feel free to pick your own polishes. For this post, we used Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Black Out, White On and Sun Kissed and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Perfectly Poppy and Loden Green]
