  • How in the world did you make a selection??? All of these little ones are sooo cute and have started out life right—accessorizing with VB!!! Don’t have any young’uns, but will return to this page again and again when I need to brighten up my day!!! Now lets turn to designing for our senior citizens—like me age 66. Accessories for walkers, wheel chairs, large colorful bibs for us messy eaters, reading glasses chains, etc. Please consider this idea. Happy day to all—and hugs to all these beautiful baby models!!!

  • Sally Whited says:

They are all so adorable! Way to go Moms!

  • Amanda B says:

You lie!! You said you left up to facebook voters if that were the case this would be a different list! According to your OWN polls before you closed the voting!

  • Gina says:

My daughter was in 7th place, why is she not listed. you skipped over her. Sophia Rose.

  • Lauren nietubicz says:

Same with my daughter (Lillie) who was in 4th… We never got an email.

  • Molly says:

Thank you so much!! My mom and I have always loved Vera Bradley and now my daughter does too! :)

  • Amber Cochran says:

So proud of my baby girl!!! All these babies are beautiful!

We were supposed to be in 10th!

  • Shelley Bustamante says:

You Guys Really Should Really Make Some Prints For Boys! A Light Blue Paisley Would Be So Cute! With A Matching Teddy-Bear!

  • truth says:

oh wahhhh, the babies that are listed are super cute, you didnt make the cut go cry elsewhere

    • wow says:

      love it.

    • a mom says:

no one is wahhh the rules said must be in vera or surrounded by vera and was a fb vote, the company lied that’s what people are complaining about

    • Unbiased Opinion says:

People are not complaining that their child did not make the cut, it’s the fact that they DID make the cut and Vera Bradley decided to pick their own winners anyway. Don’t hold a poll with rules and then don’t hold to them. Some winners were not in the top and weren’t even wearing Vera. And FYI I don’t have any children so this is completely unbiased..

  • Laura says:

These babies are adorable but I thought the official rules say they must be wearing or representing Vera

  • How come someone could win that doesn’t have any Vera, I don’t think that’s FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bonnie says:

the rules said must be with vera and was a fb vote so how can you change the rules. that is not right !!!! if it went by the rules it would be different results here I don’t understand how if you are in a contest and go by the rules how can the company do what they want when they made the rules!!!! I bet there are very angry people out there

  • a mom says:

I only see 7 first place winners and the contest it said there will be 10 first prize winners

    • Debra says:

It states below the pictures….*All winners have been selected, though we only listed those that have been confirmed as of today…..

That’s why there is an asterick by the 1st Place winners….

  • Proud Momma! says:

The contest rules did day the picture needed to have Vera in it. I was also pretty sure the rules stated the facebook voting would help choose the top 10, but then Vera would vote on who won the grand prize. My big question is… Where are the pics of the 1st prize winners? My cutie is one of them and I want everyone to see her!! :-)

  • REALLY PEOPLE !?!? says:

To everyone posting the negative comments:

This is a baby content, not a popularity contest or whiny mother contest. The rules specifically stated ” Contestant must be wearing, pictured with, or surrounded by Vera Bradley items” and ” The top 10 finalists will be judged and picked by a sponsor” and ” Votes, likes, cuteness and creativity will all be factors in picking the finalists” so maybe you should all read the rules again. I’m sorry if your daughter didn’t make it as a finalist but you don’t need to try and take away the excitement an joy from all the other children and families that have been selected. I’m sure Vera Bradley isn’t trying to make a personal attack against you and if everyone could have been selected they would be. You should thank Vera Bradley for even having the contest and giving you an opportunity to participate in it because it’s not like they have to put on contests like these.

    • RuleFollower says:

Yes, just like you said, “Contestant must be wearing, pictured with, or surrounded by Vera Bradley items”. One of the ones selected on this winner’s list does not have ANY Vera Bradley anything in the pic. That’s one reason why some were upset a bit. Why wasn’t she disqualified for not following the rules?? Her removal would allow the next baby in line to win that did, in fact, follow the rules agreed upon when entering the contest.

  • Jocelyn Fenton says:

We had days where people couldn’t vote for my baby and they kept getting kicked out of the system which is very frustrating to now know that the winner with the most votes won. And although we were happy to win a prize the rules stated that the finalists would be voted on. But before the finalists were “verified” I already knew I wasn’t the “grand prize winner” so apparently no “judging” actually took place. Also babies not wearing any vera won in the contest which I don’t think is fair to the people who followed the rules. Apparently the rules really didn’t matter….

  • Jocelyn Fenton says:

Why not show the photos of the first prize winners?

  • Stephanie says:

It is very frustrating, but also quite interesting to learn the outcome of this contest. My cousin’s daughter was consistently in the lead, then suddenly many of us are unable to vote anymore. Consequently, her votes plummeted. However, we felt better that the voting would then go to Vera Bradley and the baby who was more natural might have a chance. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no voting and the grand prize was given to the child with the most votes. Again, it was very frustrating that the hundreds of us who voted for my cousin’s baby were suddenly having problems and unable to vote when it really mattered. I will never participate in another contest run by Vera Bradley because it was run so poorly and with no regard to rules.

    • Sharlene says:

      Completely agree!!

    • Sorry Lady! says:

Do you not realise that the entire system was down for all of the voters and not just for your cousins baby??? If you would have went to Vera Bradleys facebook page and clicked on the official link it would have popped up a message stating that the contest and voting were temporarily unavailable. The downtime was around 12 hours… and each individual can only vote every 24 hours. So as long as your supporters tried again later in the day then it should not of mattered. Plus the grand prize winner was in the lead about 75% of the time, so it was no surprise that she won. So your comment about your cousins daughter being consistently in the lead is far from the truth. Nice Try Though!!!

      • Wow says:

Incidentally dear, the Grand Prize winner states that she, nor her supporters, ever had any problems voting. Please do some research before spouting off. Thank you.

      • In reply to WOW! says:

        WOW,
I don’t know where you’re doing your research but sadly you’re mistaken. There were days that I couldn’t even vote for my own daughter. How sad and creepy of you to be trying to find out if we had problems voting. I’m sure my call was recorded when I called Vera Bradley’s customer service regarding our issues with voting.

  • Scam Finder says:

Wow, the Grand Prize winner got a professional picture taken on Easter Sunday, 1 day before the contest started AND was the first entry?

Then, we use the voting, instead of judging to determine the winner? I have a feeling “judging” only would have come in to play if the very intuitive grand prize winner had not led in the voting.

The very intuitive grand prize winner was not the most colorful, was not the most creative, did not represent Vera Bradley any better than any of the other babies, yet won it all.

There were 2 other categories not mentioned:

    1. Proximity to Vera Bradley HQ, which the grand prize winner won @ 38 miles.

    2. Likely knows someone behind the contest.

    • Thankful and Very Intuitive Voter says:

I just wanted to personally Thank You Scam Finder for all of your hard work….I mean searching for SCAMS in a baby contest must be a full-time job. What would we have done without you being on the situation? I mean the nerve of that little baby just sitting there getting her picture taken in all of that Vera Bradley stuff looking all innocent and trying to act oblivious to the whole SCAM. Totally a scary world out there isn’t it? Well anyway I just wanted to thank you one more time for all you have done to clear up this big SCAM! The things people will do for some attention these days. UNBELIEVABLE! SCAM FINDER to the rescue!

  • Molly says:

We are all so proud of our Lily! No scam here!

  • Scam Finder says:

There’s nothing wrong with winning without integrity. The USA celebrates these winners every day.

    • Molly says:

Really? I’m not going to stoop to your level, I’m not that mean of a person. I’ll never understand how people can be so cruel over a contest for innocent babies. We did not cheat and do not know anyone affiliated with Vera Bradley. We are very loyal customers but not cheaters!

      • Thankful and Very Intuitive Voter says:

You will always run into Sore Losers in life….don’t let it get you down.

  • Grow Up says:

We are taliking about babies here grow up people. The winners win gift cards not cash and a photo op.The rules stated “no purchase necessary” so if you dont need to purchase you dont need to display. It also states “Vera Style” which could taken many ways to different people. If you needed to be wearing Vera than the contest was sexist to begin with because nothing is made for boys.I did not have a child in the contest but feel the people complaining need to stop making the winners feel bad that they won.I’m sure their was no cheating and much more money was put out for the Vera items than what was won. They had their friends and family vote and won by votes not anything else.

  • Mimi says:

Congratulations to the winning baby. And also to the “adorable mention”. Sad that you did not think to include the pictures of the 9 “First Place Winners”. One of them was my grand-daughter and she is a precious gift to us and we are
very proud of her. A very disappointment Mimi..

  • Mom of a baby says:

Actually the rules did state that the baby had to have vera around them or on them.

    From the official rules:
“Your Entry must depict a baby safely in, dressed in, featured with, or surrounded by Vera Bradley product(s)/style(s)”

Yes, This contest features babies but their parents were the ones who entered them. And if you go through the entries many parents took the time to feature the vera Bradley products and baby clothing. Other parents just used cute photos of their kids. Also there was the ultrasound picture and the pregnant ladies belly picture. For the parents who took the time read the rules and followed them only to not win anything would be frustrating to them. They did what they were supposed to do but got beat out by people who just posted a picture of their baby. You didn’t have to buy vera you could have printed out a picture of a vera purse or borrowed someone else’s. also who said you can’t feature your baby boy next to a vera tote.

It was nice to see that at least a baby wearing Vera won. But don’t put in the rules it will be based on creativity, vera Bradley style and colorfulness if you are just going to use the publics votes to determine the winner. Towards the end of the voting for some babies was not working and people could not vote.
So to base it on votes alone is not fair to all the babies.

    From the official rules:

    7. JUDGING CRITERIA/WINNER SELECTION: All eligible Finalist Entries will be judged by Sponsor based on the following criteria: creative/original (40%); reflects Vera Bradley baby style theme (40%); and colorful (20%). In case of a tie, the Finalist Entry (among those tied) with the highest rating in the “creative” category will break the tie. In the event a tie still remains, the Finalist Entry (among those tied) with the highest rating in the “Vera Bradley Style” category will break the tie.

Don’t have judging criteria if you aren’t going to use it. The grand prize winner was determined before they even verified the top 10.

It was great that vera Bradley had this contest but if they do it again they need to be much clearer with the rules. And follow them so that the people who enter the contest and follow them can actually win.

It’s not about growing up or bashing “innocent babies” it’s about following rules and guidelines.

  • Heather says:

Congratulations lily!! Every single baby was beautiful and I’m so disgusted to see a BABY contest turn into a negative thing. Those posting negative comments give it a rest, you are the ones who lead our children with such hopeful futures!

    • Congrats Lily says:

TEAM LILY !!! She is just so adorable, and all of the other babies were super cute too!!! It was a lot of fun looking through all of the pictures each day!

  • Scam Finder says:

So much for not stooping to my level! LMAO!

    • Molly says:

Never stooped to your level. I never said anything mean. Unlike you, I’m not a hateful person with too much time on their hands!

  • Scam Finder says:

Reading though this, it appears you have more time on your hands than I do. I won’t stoop to your level now. Instead, I will pray for you.

    • Molly says:

Oh my! How sad of you to think I would be on here under different names! I’m not you or your family! I’ve posted under my name and IN REPLY TO WOW. That’s not too much time. I’m sorry that others (that I don’t even know) have disagreed with you and think you’re rude. You’ll be in my prayers as well!

  • Vicky says:

My Little man is the one at the top with the beach scene, in the adorable mentions! We didn’t win but I’m happy to see he got noticed.
