D.I.Y. Paper Medallions

DIY: Paper MedallionsStep 1: Using scissors or a straight-edge cutter, cut 2 sheets of paper in half. You will end up with 4 sheets of 12″ x 6″ paper.
Step 2: Use the decorative edge punch to punch along the long edge of each sheet of paper. Just punch along one edge of each of the 4 sheets of paper.
Step 3: Accordion fold each sheet of 6″ x 12″ paper, making sure that folds are approximately one inch in size.
Step 4: Use double-sided adhesive to secure the ends of the paper together. Continue this by securing all 4 sheets of paper end to end.
Step 5: Once all sheets are secured to each other, bring the first and last sheet around to form a circle and secure them to each other.
Step 6: Once they are all connected, push the circle down in the center to lay flat. Then add a large glob of hot glue to the center of the medallion. Hold the edges of the medallion to keep the medallion lying flat until the glue is dry.
Step 7: Using the circle punch, punch 2 circles and secure to each side of the medallion using hot glue.
Step 8: Finally, using the hot glue gun, secure a piece of ribbon down the inside of one of the accordion folds for hanging.

D.I.Y. Rolled Flowers

DIY: Rolled FlowersStep 1: Use scissors to cut out a circle from the 6″ x 6″ card stock (nearly the full size of the paper). Does not need to be a perfect circle.
Step 2: Use scissors to cut the circle in a spiral, starting with the outer edge and creating a pointy edge at the beginning. Continue cutting and leave a tab in the center where it will be hot glued.
Step 3: Tightly roll the paper spiral, starting at the outside edge. Continue rolling until you get to the center. You will have a tightly rolled flower.
Step 4: Gently release the rolled flower to create desired size. Using a hot glue gun, apply a large dollop of glue to the center tab and secure flower layers.
Step 5: Use scissors to cut out leaf shapes from the green card stock.
Step 6: Pinch leaves at one end to create dimension and use hot glue to attach the leaves to the flower.
