Prints are going a bit “juvenile” for me. Understand you have to cater to the younger mareket, but don’t forget the Veterans who got you here! BTW, when the prints get so big they don’t look well on the smaller pieces IE: Purple Punch…

BEAUTIFUL!! Colorful is right! Vibrant, rich, elegant patterns! BRAVO VERA! Absolutely LOVE Plum Petals. Florals and purples, MY FAVE! Safari Sunset is so elegant and the colors are rich and gorgeous, really like the intricate pattern. But…. Vera your such a tease!! CAN NOT WAIT THAT LONG!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ So excited to see them all in person and check out the new styles!

  • halosdusty says:

I am not being knocked over by these colors. I am not into big bold floral prints and I don’t care for some of the color combinations. There are plenty of other patterns I find appealing that VB has, so I shall be content with those and will wait for the winter collection.

  • Grace says:

Does anyone know what the title of this song, the artist/band name is? I really like it, and would love to download it! Thanks!

  • Sparky says:

I’m loving Safari Sunset! Everyone compliments me on my Miller bag, it would be really nice to have one in Safari Sunset as well.

  • OMG!! I love safari sunset!! i am dying to pick something up from the store. โ™ฅ

  • Michelle says:

Lovely video and nice choice of colors ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Emmie says:

Oh my goodness!!!! Mocha Rouge & Plum Petals 4 sure! I’m even more excited than when Folkloric came out! I needs some new Veras!

  • Christina says:

I love them!!! I have been waiting for the new colors (I was so disappointed with the Summer ones). Can’t wait to buy my new Vera Bradley bag!!! 10 days is going to seem like forever!!!

  • Marilyn P. says:

I do not think any of the Fall line look like Autumn to me. I am disappointed. The video was almost an insult to me, a woman in my 60’s who has been a VB fan for a long time. It is great that my granddaughters love VB as much as I do, but spare me the cuteness. I lived through the 70’s and the new patterns remind me of that time.

  • Tara C says:

My biggest request is for a bag that is the Metropolitan with a handle and wheels!! Some of us carry WAY too much to carry on our shoulders and would love a briefcase/computer type bag with wheels!!

Can’t wait to see the new patterns in person!!

  • Catherine Velarde says:

My daughter, my mom, my sisters and I have all found patterns we love in the Fall 2011 line, and all 3 generations of us are set to go shopping the day they come out. As for me, I love Happy Snails and Mocha Rouge. My daughter has her eye on a new hipster in Plum Petals. We can’t wait!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • JRB says:

I am absolutely in LOVE with Safari Sunset. It reminds me of the older patterns of VB and I am so excited for it. There is this India/Bollywood thing going on in that pattern and I love both those things!! Looks wonderful and fun!! Very Fall-ish with the purple and orange. YAY!!! I will be looking forward to seeing this in the laptop backpack and the stadium blanket!!!

  • Lauren U says:

SO excited ๐Ÿ™‚ I think that I am going to fall in love with Happy Snails for sure! But the other three are really cute as well! Nicely done, Team Vera!!

  • KRicketts says:

Sorry! Not one is what I’d choose. They’re all starting to look very similar with just a change in color. I’d love to see some polka dots, stripes and other geometric prints.

  • Cindy says:

Perhaps new designs 4 times a year is too much! I spend a lot of time telling people at work that the 31 bags are in no way comparable to Vera bags, but with this season’s and last season’s designs, I am rather disappointed. They don’t seem very different from each other and are rather same old, same old. The bags I own get compliment all the time, everywhere I go. Lately, the designs seem boring. Sorry, but gotta tell it like it is.

  • Kris says:

I have to agree with Cindy, the past few seasons of patterns have been a real disappointment. I like the Plum Petals but the patterns really are a re-hash of patterns seen far and wide during the 70’s and 80’s. Retro is cool but it also dates things very quick. They aren’t versatile. I have to echo Martha’s statement as well…it seems as if VB is really trying to make a push for a younger demographic. That is fantastic but as a woman in her 30’s, I really don’t want to carry a tote that looks like it was fashioned from my Grandmother’s housecoat. Maybe two patterns aimed at the tween/teen/college age crowd and two that blend the classic Vera, with modern touches for their older audience. Fun and sophisticated can go hand in hand, as evident by Sittin’ In A Tree or New Hope. I know that is what I like in VB. These patterns (and the summer selection) look pretty cheap.
I love my dozen of VB in various patterns and colors but this will be the first year where I haven’t bought anything new in the Spring or Fall.

  • Morganne says:

I love all the new patterns, I just cant deciede which one. I guess its gonna be another vera bradley christmas! :]

  • Mary says:

I might like the patterns. Honestly, after watching the video I can’t say either way. The scenes changed before I could get my eyes focused on the bags! Kind of annoying. I will look forward to seeing *still* shots of them though! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Megan K says:

The Mocha Rouge and Safari Sunset patterns are my fav!!

  • anita says:

    I <3 FALL!!!

  • Mary Bridget says:

Agree with K.Ricketts: Would love to see some polka dots and stripes. A smaller, quieter floral pattern mixed in with dots &/or stripes would be fine but maybe something toned down a little bit. Overall though, I am a big fan of Vera Bradley and still own handbags and sunglass cases from the late ’80s!

  • Lisa Ouzts says:

Love the colors as always and new styles

  • Libby Rowe says:

Love the Safari Sunset!! I do wish, however, that the elephant was on more of the pieces!! Already saved some pieces in my Wish List on the VB site!!

  • missy :) says:

So I am absolutely LOVING the new Chain Bag featured in the sneak peek. But ladies, I’m seeing another style that looks new to me – it’s featured 3 or 4 times in the FALL 2011 “trailer” and looks similar to the Julia Handbag I just purchased a few months ago, only like a smaller, sleeker version. Am I just crazy or does it truly exist?? Vera, answers please!! I think I’m in love!!!!!!!

  • Ashlyn says:

Happy Snails is the pattern I’ve been waiting for. I am counting down the days. Its time for a new backpack and of course, notebooks and folders to fill it!

  • cheryl sperry says:

Great info. Love Vera Bradley. Enjoyed your comments.

  • Debbie says:

Of course, they are aiming at a younger demographic ๐Ÿ™‚ Moms or Grandmas have resources to justify buying gifts (and picking up a new VB for themselves) and many young people don’t care what something costs of they want it badly enough ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’d like to see more houndstooth check, or microfiber bags that aren’t so unique in shape and use. The video was spot on for the demographic, but I loved that Ft. Wayne was used, wish the products were still made in Ft. Wayne or Van Wert!!!

  • Dana says:

I am in LOVEEE!!!! with Plum Petals (; It will for sure be the print of the backpack this year for my tote ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Andrea says:

Love, Love Love the new patterns. Everything is great. Keep up the good work. Who needs polka dots, everyone has those. We rely on Vera for the uniqueness. Sure some things are hit or miss sometimes, but that’s just the way it works. My personal fall favorite is Happy Snails, bonus. it has my daughter’s wedding colors in it. So excited! Can’t wait.

  • Rani Beckner says:

I love you Vera Bradley. Thanks to you, my paychecks are ALL going toward beautiful clutches, purses and wallets. I had never been an obsessive collector- until I met YOU! I am in good company, because I see other obsessive Vera Bradley people everywhere too…..we of course, have excellent taste!!

  • Hannah says:

I really want the blanket:( can’t find it online tho!! LOVE THE PATTERNS;)

  • Hannah says:

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO DANG EXPENSIVE!? I love Vera Bradley and I have toooo much…but I keep finding something I really want, yet it’s soo expensive. And my mom is convinced I’m obsessed! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Carly says:

  • Bailee says:

Yay new colors! Definitely want a mini hipster in the Mocha Rouge or Happy Snails for my trip to London in the fall!!

  • Brittney says:

Soo cute can’t wait for it to come out!!

  • Julie says:

while I can always seem to find a current pattern I like, I do miss the old French provincial prints.

  • Shannon says:

Plum Petals and Mocha Rouge… going to be a tough choice since I am only permitted one new Vera a season… sigh

  • Alexa says:

I am obsessed with Vera and have everything except sunglasses! I can’t wait to get the blanket! It looks so cool!!!!!!! Mocha Pink and Happy Snails look amazing! I agree that some different kind of patterns need to be made because the new ones look like retired patterns!

  • Linda says:

I LOVE VERA BRADLEY. Everywhere I go I see it. Other women and I look at each others purse and Yell ” VERA BRADLEY’ its becoming like a club. Thank You for your creations

  • Amanda says:

Thank you for these desktop wallpapers. I LOVE THEM. They brighten up my day whenever I sit at my desk and work on my computer. Please do them again in the future! Such a great idea. I love the fall 2011 line…. Mocha Rouge is my fav!!!

  • Meghan says:

I was wondering what the backpack was called that is showed in second 9 of the video! Any idea, just reply!

  • Bev says:

I, too, am so disappointed that the production of your VB bags has been moved to China. sad, sad. We need to keep jobs here in the USA!!

  • Everyday we undergo how technology continuously makes existence simpler at this time,Belstaff Blousons.

  • Jessica says:

I miss these patterns. They were the best set, and I don’t like any newer patterns really, especially in the Fall 2012 collection. ๐Ÿ™
Please convert these older designs onto the newer products! For example, the flexi binders, folders, pencil pouches, compistion notebooks, and the other school supplies! (As well as the bed sheets and iphone case) If VB did this, I would buy, buy, buy!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
