We’re out west!

We packed up our Folkloric and Boysenberry bags, respectfully, and flew to Salt Lake City for the Altitude Design Summit, a conference for design and lifestyle bloggers.

What a great picture. I too just got back into town. I was at a all-star cheer competition and I took my vintage Vera “Frankly Scarlet” with me but my daughter has Folkloric with her. She is the first to have it among her friends and she feels pretty special about it. Let me tell you. Driving it was grey and white and flat and depressing. The only color was our Vera Bradly. lol. Thank God for Vera. My daughter doesn’t believe in collection the collection. She likes a piece of each. Vera was well represented at this competition. We were constantly asked, “How much Vera Bradley do you own?” My response as my daugher’s, “Not enough, never enough” LOL Thanks Vera.

I have to blame my ex-sister in law for getting me started! She has the top shelf of her closet with nothing but your purses, totes, wallets, lugage, diaper bags, etc…… Years ago she bought me my first piece and thats all it took, I was hooked. I just moved my Daughter to Washington DC last week and while shopping around we came across the Columbia Mall in MD and low and behold there was a Vera Store calling my name. Since I am from backwoods middle of nowhere in WV I have had to find my addiciton in little gift shops through out our state so you can imagine my surprise to find your store. The staff was so great and it was such a pleasure to be surrounded by nothing but Vera! I sell Longaberger Baskets and know the impact that display and function play and your store was great. Since I needed a laptop case Theresa helped me find my newest piece the Metropolitan in Folkloric and I am in love! The pattern in so fun and spirited and wow with the features words can’t describe. I love everything about it! Keep up the great work and new ideas.
